Are you an experienced manager looking for a part-time opportunity serving the Manawatu community? Our current General Manager, Aly, is leaving us in March so we’re looking for a replacement to lead our organisation.
In this role you’ll oversee Neighbourhood Support Manawatū’s core projects and programmes, manage finances, reporting, funding and key relationships, and provide support and leadership to our team and volunteers. You’ll also work closely with our governing committee to define organisational strategy.
Based in Feilding Police Station this role is 12 hours per week with potential to grow pending future funding. You can choose your working hours and have the ability to work from home on occasion.
To be successful in this role you’ll have proven experience in the areas listed above and be a skilled communicator with experience building strong working relationships, training volunteers, data entry and general administration. You’ll need to be able to connect with people of all ages and from all backgrounds, and be confident using various software and online tools to complete your work.
